Realize what’s possible

Coaching for leaders, teams and organizations

Coaching is not uniform.

From life guidance to career development, coaching comes in a host of flavors and approaches. Identifying who and what will work for you is highly personal and driven by your own “why”—what are you looking to do, but, more importantly, what does this actually mean to you?

My own “why” is to empower people to reach their full potential, focusing on real, intrinsic change—deep-rooted transformation that gets to the core.

The work I do is not often about an easy fix or answer. It is not simply about tactical solutions nor surface level insights. It is about getting to the real solve, focusing on you at the center and catalyzing changes that last beyond our work together.

I counsel C-level executives who are navigating key professional and organizational shifts—guiding these leaders to evolve and amplify their presence and impact.

We do this together by identifying and working on systemic patterns and behaviors that can hold people back as well as honing in on the strengths that can propel them forward. By going beyond the surface and looking at sometimes uncomfortable realities, we unlock the possibilities that allow individuals, teams, and organizations to do their best work.

 Creating lasting shifts require:

  • straightforward honesty

  • deep, broad, and tangible business experience

  • actionable insights/strategies

  • vulnerability

  • true investment in your outcome

Through my work, I strive to create the kind of lasting, fundamental changes that enable people to truly realize what’s possible.

My approach

It’s about you, not me
I’m deeply invested in your success, putting you at the center of my work and working shoulder to shoulder with you—from strategic thought partnership to latent, personal, pattern recognition.

Leverage depth and breadth
I have the knowledge and experience to go both deep and wide — from broad business challenges to untapped personal insights, tackling the long and short term strategies to move you forward.

Truth-telling
I am committed to candor. While I’m big on empathy and emotional support, I don’t dance around the hard truths that ultimately help my clients become more authentically confident and inspirational leaders.

Power of questions
I truly believe in the power of the right questions to identify the blind spots, limiting beliefs and patterns that prevent individuals and teams from doing their best work or from harnessing their unique strengths.

Get to the core
Our work together is driven by you, not some rote process playbook. I tailor my approach to your needs, your experiences, your goals — giving you ownership of your growth at every step of the journey.

Building capacity, not dependency
Success means I’m no longer needed. My end goal is to build the awareness, understanding, and muscle for sustained transformation.

What My Clients Are Saying

“Other coaches never look at why things keep happening or why you believe things to be true. Howard goes deeper and is always pushing me to think more, to do more pattern recognition and systemic change rather than just tactical problem solving.”

Amanda Richardson, CEO, CoderPad

A leadership whisperer — that’s the best way I can describe Howard. He is able to uncover things that you didn’t even know needed to be uncovered.”

Elissa Salas, CEO, College Track

“He is so authentic and cares so much. He wants to see you succeed and is invested in it. You end up feeling like you have an ally. He cares a lot about creating not just solutions, but a better framework from which you can approach your job and try to be a better human being.”

Tim Mahedy, Chief of Staff to the President, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco

“On the surface, coaching is often seen as a “nice to have.” However, when well executed, it’s anything but simply “nice”. The work Howard and I did together allowed me to discover my true leadership strengths and taught me how to work through my weaknesses. It changed my organization and it changed me.

Amy Mack, CEO, The Institute for Functional Medicine

“He helped me cut through the non-essential parts and allowed me to show up just the way I need to be my best self. He helps you focus on the essential.”

Scott Donohue, Partner, NextWorld Evergreen

“He’s able to work in many dimensions. He can be knitting together a corporate landscape, what’s going on in the environment, what do you need to do, and what the people around you are looking for. His business smarts are a strength. He comes in and he’s ready to talk in your language, even about the way that your firm runs and the org chart and what it all means. Some coaches don’t even know the language of our industry.”

Heather Pelant, Partner, Baker Street Advisors
